Sights of Dubai

Join our tailor-made city tour showing highlights of Dubai´s ancient sites as well as the vibrant cosmopolitan life of nowadays.

The route starts in the modern part of Dubai (Dubai Marina) towards the direction of the old town past some of the renowned landmarks on Jumeirah Beach Road including a photo stop at Burj Al Arab and the magnificent Jumeirah Mosque (one of the largest and most beautiful mosques in the UAE) as well as a glimpse of the majestic beach palaces belonging to the Ruling Royal family. Then you continue to the Bastakiya area with its wind towered-houses built by wealthy merchants in the past - the only preserved & restored area of Dubai's past history. The journey continues towards creek - and you experience the traditional way of life in Dubai and take the abra (water taxi) across the creek. Along this route, you will be dropped off at the pier side to resume the journey on foot to the legendary Spice Souk where an array of spices and herbs from many parts of the world are displayed in numerous shops. From dried rose petals to the best of saffron, all can be seen here. A few minutes walk, leads to the dazzling Gold Market.

All guests will be picked up at the hotel by our guides in 4WD Jeeps. Our first stop will be the tallest building in the world and an awe-inspiring masterpiece of architecture: Burj Khalifa. High speed elevators will bring you up to the observatory deck on 124^th floor. Take your time to enjoy the breath-taking 360º degree views of Dubai City, the desert and the ocean!

Are you ready for desert, mountains and wadis? Off we go.
The well paved highway will lead right through the desert and into the Hajar mountains to Hatta. We will have a short stop at the very informative Heritage Village where you can learn a lot about the ancient times of Bedouin life in this area, before we go off for some exciting wadi bashing.

Lunch (optional) will be at the Hatta Fort Hotel, a lovely mountain retreat surrounded by the majestic Hajar Mountain range and wild nature. You will also have some time to relax in 80 acres of landscaped garden.

The afternoon and early evening with its special light is the best time of the day to experience the desert. Let´s go for some dune bashing and camel riding (optional). There is so much to see and do in the desert - you will be surprised!
