The Company's Background in the Hydrogen Business

Amongst all technology suppliers, Linde is the outstanding contractor for complete hydrogen and related plants such as, syngas, carbon monoxide, ammonia and methanol production plants. Linde is the only company who owns all technologies inhouse, covering the complete range of petrochemical feedstocks from natural gas through LPG, refinery off-gases and naphtha up to heavy fuel oil, asphaltenes and coal.
These technolgies are basically:

		Steam reforming technology for light HC-feedstock combined with Linde's own PSA systems for hydrogen purification. Partial oxidation technology for heavy hydrocarbon-feedstock followed by Linde's Rectisol® Process for gas purification. The pure oxygen for the gasification is produced with a Linde air separation unit. CO production of any required quality can easily be integrated by adding a Linde Cold Box for cryogenic H2/CO separation. Based on this in-depth expertise along the hydrogen chain, Linde is uniquely positioned in all fields of concern from hydrogen production storage, over the fence supply up to hydrogen distribution system management.
